The Ford Explorer has a fuel tank size of 20.2 gallons, depending on which Explorer trim level drivers get. The long list of different Explorer trim levels presents different gas tank sizes as well, which fits the gas mileage each model provides. The Ford Explorer has a 510-mile driving range, however, this driving range could differ based on the model. The base Explorer model delivers this long driving distance and more available models equip more durable engines that’ll require some more gas on a daily basis. A few 2021 Explorer models have more gas efficiency with a smaller tank size, so a smooth performance is assured.
The Explorer equips a 2.3L EcoBoost® Engine that creates 300 horsepower, which is the base engine. The 2.3-liter engine is the base but a 3.0L EcoBoost® Engine is available, and it could create 400 to 365 horsepower based on the trim level. They're responsive and want your business in the beginning, but then once you buy the vehicle, once you leave there they're almost non-responsive and won't help you. It took a couple of days to get it to a tech for a warranty claim but that's to be expected these days. My service writer, Freddy, responded by quickly SMS, whenever I texted him. My tech did a perfect repair and the F150 PB came back better than when I bought it.

Our service manager was great, Lynne. My biggest disappointment had to do with scheduling the valet. Pick-up went beautifully. I was told I’d have my car the next day and when it was ready was told the drop-off wasn’t possible. I was then made to feel guilty that I was insisting it be dropped off as promised. The manager, Andrew, basically told me there were no guarantees, the service was free, and if I wanted my car back as promised, I’d have to pick it up myself. Unfortunately, due to undisclosed damage that remains unresolved and exceedingly poor communication I have to leave a bad review. Cannot get anyone from the dealership to respond to phone, email, or text to resolve this safety issue in the 2023 Audi Q4 I purchased April 11. Love the car! VERY DISAPPOINTED in this dealership!

Went to get my vehicle serviced and the staff is always great and very helpful.
Despite the change in day/time of servie, the staff, especially Lynne, were extremely accommodating and clear in the setting the expectations for care. It was really great to receive a video of the inspection that I could approve from my phone before they returned the car; shows great transparency in an industry where it could often be questioned.

Called to set an appointment for service warranty work. Appointment was set. When I arrived for the appt., no record of it. Was told appointment only gets you in queue with others with no appointment. So appointment is useless. My warranty work for back-up camera took 1.5 days. The service department claimed my car battery needed replacement (battery was under warranty from retailer so I declined). Turns out that there was nothing wrong with the battery. We brought our vehicle in for maintenance specifically because it's a high mileage vehicle, and the service department did not disappoint. We anticipated more issues than we were aware of, and they were thorough, patient when we asked for explanations, and swift at the repair.
Extremely helpful with warranty coverage for services. Helped me make informed decisions with my finances on what services to get for my vehicle.
Terrible buying experience overall. I drove an hour and a half to look at a used car, test drove it, discussed numbers, and made an offer through my salesman, Joe. Joe was about as helpful as he could be throughout the process and seemed to genuinely try to work with me, though communication over text later on was very slow and delayed.

I went in due to a sensor light that kept turning on, they replaced 3 different parts that were not related to the problem and now the issue is still there. Wouldn’t recommend for any issues unless you have no choice and under warranty.
